Heavy-Load & Commercial Tires · Long Beach
ST, LT, and commercial sizes for motorhomes, travel trailers, Sprinter and Transit vans, light trucks, and work vehicles. We carry the load-rated tires that built for the job and we mount, balance, and torque to manufacturer spec.
What We Service
Most chain tire shops aren't set up for the size, weight, or load rating that motorhomes, commercial vans, and one-ton trucks need. We have the equipment and supplier relationships to handle the work — and the experience to spot tires that need replacement before they fail.
Common sizes: ST, LT, and 19.5"–22.5" commercial sizes available — call with your size.
Heavy-load tires with reinforced sidewalls. We balance for highway-speed stability and torque to spec on dual-rear setups.
Common sizes: ST225/75R15, ST235/80R16, ST235/85R16 and other special-trailer sizes.
Special trailer (ST) tires age fast in SoCal heat — UV exposure and trailer storage matter. We check date codes and recommend replacement before failure on the road.
Common sizes: LT215/85R16, LT245/75R16, LT225/75R16 — common Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and Ram ProMaster fitments.
LT-rated all-position tires for commercial van use. We balance to handle the loaded-and-empty cycle, and we torque to manufacturer spec.
Common sizes: LT265/70R17, LT275/70R18, LT285/75R16 and similar truck fitments.
We carry LT, P-metric, and load-rated equivalents for half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks. Towing or hauling? We'll match the load index correctly.
Common sizes: LT225/75R16, LT245/75R16, LT265/75R16 in commercial-grade builds.
Tires built for daily commercial use — sidewall puncture resistance, even tread wear under variable loads, and long highway tread life.
Common sizes: 33×12.50R20, 35×12.50R17, 37×12.50R20 and other oversize.
All-terrain and mud-terrain options — BFGoodrich KO2/KM3, Toyo Open Country, Falken Wildpeak, Nitto Ridge Grappler. We mount and balance oversize without damaging wheels or beadlock components.
Why It Matters
A blown tire on a 30-ft motorhome at 65 mph is a different event than a blowout on a passenger car. The forces, the body damage, and the safety risk are an order of magnitude bigger. Most RV and trailer blowouts trace to one of three things: age-related sidewall failure, under-inflation under load, or improper balancing. We address all three on every install.
For commercial vans and work trucks, the math is simpler — downtime costs money. We turn most light-truck tire jobs around in 60–90 minutes, and we can usually source even hard-to-find LT and commercial sizes within 24 hours through our supplier network built up over 35+ years in business.
If you're not sure what your RV, trailer, or van actually calls for — bring the vehicle in or call with year/make/model. We'll check the placard, the current tires, and the wheel/load specs, then tell you what's correct.

Common Questions
We stock common ST trailer sizes and LT light-truck sizes. For 19.5"–22.5" commercial motorhome sizes, we typically order them in — call with your size and load rating and we'll quote availability and timing. Most sizes arrive within 1–2 business days.
Special trailer (ST) and motorhome tires age out before they wear out. Southern California sun and heat degrade rubber faster than the tires get used — most RV blowouts happen because of age, not tread wear. We recommend replacing trailer and RV tires every 5–7 years regardless of remaining tread, and sooner if there's visible cracking or sidewall damage. We always check the DOT date code at install.
P-metric (passenger) tires are for cars, crossovers, and SUVs. LT (light truck) tires have stiffer sidewalls and higher load ratings — required for trucks doing real work. ST (special trailer) tires are for trailers only — never put them on a powered vehicle. We help you match the right rating to how the vehicle is actually used.
Yes. We have the equipment to balance large-diameter and high-load tires properly — including dynamic and road-force balancing for vibration issues that show up only at highway speed under load. Many shops can't or won't balance these correctly.
We don't currently offer mobile service. Bring your RV, motorhome, or light truck to either Long Beach location during business hours — both shops can handle the size and weight. Cherry Ave is open 7 days a week.
About the same as a passenger car install once we have the tires on hand — 60–90 minutes depending on size, balance complexity, and TPMS work. Larger commercial motorhome tires (19.5"+) take longer. For trailer tire jobs we can usually turn it around the same day.
Both Long Beach locations service light trucks, work vans, and trailers. For motorhomes and oversize commercial sizes, calling ahead lets us confirm stock and reserve a bay.
