Our Story
Ochoa's Tire Service was founded in 1988 in El Segundo, California by Elias M. Ochoa. In 2002 he moved the business to Long Beach, where it has operated ever since. Today his son, Elias Ochoa, runs and manages both Long Beach locations — continuing the family business with the same care and honesty his father built it on.
What hasn't changed is the approach Elias built the business on: be honest about what a car actually needs, charge a fair price, and do the work right the first time. That's not a marketing line — it's how you stay in business for 35 years in the same community.

The same family has been running Ochoa's since the day it opened in 1988. Today father and son still work together — the founder set the standard, his son keeps it.

Opened the first shop in El Segundo in 1988 and built the business on one rule: be honest about what a car actually needs. He moved the shop to Long Beach in 2002 and still walks the bays — the standard he set is the one we run on every day.
Owner · Cherry Ave & Paramount Blvd
Runs day-to-day at both Long Beach locations. Grew up in the shop — learned tires and brakes the same way you learn a family recipe. Takes calls personally, knows most regulars by name, and answers the phone in English or Spanish.
We tell you what your vehicle actually needs — not what generates the largest ticket. If something doesn't need replacing, we'll tell you. We earn repeat customers by being straight with them, not by upselling.
We stock used tires starting at low prices for customers on a budget, and we carry premium brands for customers who want the best. We match competitors on price and offer four financing options for larger jobs.
Most tire work — mount, balance, rotation, flat repair — is done while you wait. Brake jobs typically take 1–2 hours. We respect your time and move efficiently without cutting corners on the work itself.
We serve Long Beach's full community. Spanish-speaking customers are welcome at both locations — we're fluent and happy to explain exactly what's going on with your vehicle in whichever language you prefer.
Our Cherry Ave location is open every day of the week, including Sundays. We know car problems don't wait for Monday. Paramount Blvd is open Monday through Saturday.
