Reservation deposit policy
When you reserve a wheel, tire, or suspension package with Ochoa's Tire Service, you pay a $100 deposit. This page explains what that deposit does, when you get it back, and what happens if plans change. Effective date: August 27, 2026.
What the deposit does
The deposit reserves your package at the price you were quoted. It holds your parts and your install appointment while we source them.
The deposit is not an extra charge. It comes off your final balance, so a $900 package with a $100 deposit leaves $800 to pay at the shop on install day.
Your quote and its price are held for 14 days from the date on the quote. After that, we requote — supplier prices move, and we would rather requote than surprise you at the counter.
What the deposit is not
Your reservation is not a completed sale. You pay the balance in person when the work is done, and nothing ships to you. Parts and labor stay subject to our regular warranty and our terms of service.
Getting your deposit back
Before we order your parts. Full refund, no questions. Call the shop that holds your quote and we will refund the deposit to the card you paid with.
After we order your parts. Most parts can go back to the supplier, and we refund your deposit less whatever the supplier charges us to return them. Some parts — custom finishes, drilled-to-order wheels, and special-size tires — cannot go back at all. When that is the case, we tell you before we order.
If a part can't be returned. We hold your deposit as shop credit for 90 days. Use it on any parts or service at either location.
If we can't get your parts. Full refund. If a supplier cannot deliver what we quoted, that is on us, and you get every dollar back.
Refunds go to the card you paid with and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Missed appointments
Life happens. Call or text and we will reschedule, at no cost, as many times as you need.
If we do not hear from you for 30 days after your install date, we treat the reservation as cancelled and the deposit as forfeited. We will try to reach you by phone and email before that happens.
Changing your package
You can change your package any time before we order. If the price goes up, you pay the difference at install; if it goes down, we credit it. Your deposit carries over either way.
